FAQ
1. Is Tank Funk Fix safe for my robot's internal sensors and gaskets?
Absolutely. Unlike harsh detergents or ammonia-based cleaners, Tank Funk Fix is a pH-balanced, mineral based formula. It was specifically engineered to be non-corrosive to the delicate rubber seals and water level sensors found in high-end machines like Eufy, Roborock, Narwal, Roomba, and iRobot.
2. Can I put this in my clean water tank?
Tank Funk Fix is a specialized treatment for Wastewater Tanks only. It is designed to stabilize organic waste and neutralize gases at the source. If added accidently just rinse out. If added and used, it could cause streaking to some floors, which will mop off very easily. No Machine Damage will occur.
3. Is it safe for homes with pets?
Yes. Our formula is ammonia free and bleach free, and made from high-purity minerals. While no pet should be drinking out of the dirty water tank for obvious reason, our product is safe and would be no cause for alarm if they did have a stray lick.
4. Why does it fizz when I add it to the tank?
That's the "Mechanical Scrub" in action. The effervescent reaction creates active agitation that helps break up biofilm and "sludge" on the bottom of your tank, while simultaneously kickstarting the oxygen-neutralization process.
5. How long does one treatment last?
One teaspoon stabilizes for the entire duration of a standard tank fill (typically 3-7 days). Even if you don't empty your tank daily, the "Power of Three" minerals keep the water alkaline and oxygenated to prevent fermentation and odor.
6. Why is it better than adding a floor cleaner in the waste tank?
Floor cleaners are designed to lift dirt; they aren't designed to stop gases produced by stagnant , dirty water.
7. Does it have a scent?
Tank Funk Fix is Fragrance-Free. Clean isn't a smell; it's the absence of one.
8. Can I pour my wastewater down my sink?
Absolutely. Tank Funk Fix is formulated with 100% biodegradable septic-safe minerals. A major benefit of the "Power of Three" formula is that it continues working as you dispose of the water. It acts as a secondary neutralizer for your plumbing. Unlike raw wastewater that can leave odor causing biofilm in your pipes.
